ICSAtlanta 2nd Grade

Stay in the loop!

Dear Family,

When we return from break, the first Friday (January 10th), we will hold our Chick-fil-a Biscuit sale!

This is for both upper and lower campuses and only for students to buy in the building and bring to class to eat. Chick-fil-a biscuits are $5.00, and buttered biscuits are $3.00 (no juice will be sold; students are encouraged to bring water bottles). Cash only, please; small bills and exact change are preferable. Please remember to pack an "extra" breakfast for your child in case we have run out of biscuits by the time he/she arrives at school!Students will ONLY be allowed to purchase one biscuit; no exceptions will be allowed unless we have extras still available at the end of the regular purchasing time.

Re-enrollment begins on January 2nd! Re-enrollment for 2025-2026 is required of all families in order to secure your child's spot for next year. Re-enrollment will run from January 2nd through January 31st via your Parent Portal. Please be sure you have your parent portal login and password. If you need assistance with your login or password reset, please contact admissions@icsatlanta.org, and provide your full name. This is a hard deadline. If we do not have your child's re-enrollment completed by January 31st, your child will not be enrolled for the 2025-2026 school year. Please click HERE for easy-to-follow instructions.

If you have a rising kindergarten student, you must apply (on our website) between January 2nd and January 31st to benefit from the Enrolled Sibling Preference for the lottery. Please be sure to mark the application with Enrolled Sibling Preference. There are several steps to enrolling a new student, so please be sure to adhere to the specified deadlines as we are not able to apply the Enrolled Sibling Preference after the lottery is run. Siblings who do not apply by the January 31st deadline will be placed on the waitlist in the order their application is received.

If you have a new student applying to ICSAtlanta in 1st, 2nd or 3rd grade, they must meet the STAMP language requirement before they can apply.

Please contact admissions@icsatlanta.org for more information.

Announcement:

Beginning when we return from holiday break in January, we will add our first-ever School Resource Officer (SRO) to our school's staff. Officer Ken is a retired Roswell City police officer with a masters in public safety administration. He was a police captain for 7 years before rising to a police major, where he served for 6 years before retiring. Officer Ken will be in charge of security for both campuses. He is very excited to join our ICSAtlanta family and is looking forward to getting to know our students, staff, and parents.

We begin our holiday break next week! We'll look forward to seeing our students back on January 7th. Be safe, and have a wonderful holiday season!
